Long Bio:

Lhasso, Fya Fulla!
I’m Roshan Tamang.

After I finished my SLC in the earthquake year, I left my close-to-nature, close-to-family life in my hometown, Dhading, to start living in compact concrete rooms in Kathmandu. I am as moved by the dreams that my village sowed in me as I am by the challenges that Kathmandu brings upon me. Place really matters, doesn’t it?

After high school in 2019, I found myself seeking a path into the workforce and inadvertently discovered the world of advertising. I stayed in this field due to my growing love for creativity and strategy. Over the years, I’ve worked as a copywriter at two different agencies, creating work that clients liked, the audience loved, and that I am proud of.

Today, I’m a creative copywriter with over three years of experience. And I thrive in articulating insight-driven truths in the most artistic, distinguishable, engaging, and memorable way, regardless of scope or budget. While I embrace the age of Generative AI and admire the efficiency it brings, I believe creativity and craft remain advertising’s most prized possessions and difference-makers.

In my workplace, I’m known as a restless workaholic who occasionally skips lunch to play pool – mostly because the office shuts its doors after seven. Despite missing a few lunch breaks with colleagues, I am a good collaborator who values diverse opinions and enjoys moments when different skill sets come together to win a challenge. If an idea is conceived and carried forward from the room that I’m present in, I will nurture and defend it against the harshest scrutiny from any stakeholder.

Ideally, I would want to host guests at my own house over a cup of tea. But it’s 2026. And in Kathmandu or anywhere in the liveable world, for that matter, the land prices are exorbitant. The only land I can afford is web land. Thankfully, that had not been encroached on yet. So I took it.

This site is more yours than mine. Take a tour around, and make yourself at home. It’s totally free, no strings attached (well, in exchange for your time and attention, of course).
